I think the Xbox fanboys will end up with the bottom of an Xbox avatar's shoe in their mouths with this one. How many times have we seen Xbox exclusives hailed as the new graphics king only to have average graphics when released?

Perhaps the Xbox fanboys rejoiced too soon. That's why it's best to stop hyping games and just enjoy them for what they are. I keep seeing Xbox fanboys hype graphics in game after game but when the game is released and the graphics are not that good then they just end up looking stupid. It happened with Metro 2033, Splinter Cell, and now Alan Wake. When will you fanboys from both sides learn?

Sony has proven every time to produce 10 year life span consoles. If Nintendo bows out early then Sony will pass them. The PS3 is at about 35 million in 3 1/2 years and that's on pace to hit over 100 million in 10 years like the PS1 and PS2. We also know that Sony don't drop support for their current console when they release they new one unlike Nintendo and Microsoft. Just look at how the PS2 is STILL selling.

Don't be so sure of that. Just like with the PS1 and PS2, Sony has a 10 year life span for the PS3 with at least 10 million consoles sold a year so at ten years that will put the PS3 over 100 million just like the PS1 and PS2. The guy above you was right when he said who ever stops production first will finish in last place. This gen isn't over so Nintendo didn't win yet. They are destroying the competition now but it's not over yet. I'm sure Microsoft will cut out early and drop support...
It's pretty obvious that Conviction, like all other Splinter Cell games, is just a timed exclusive for the Xbox and will come to the PS3. Anyone who thought it wouldn't come to the PS3 either just started gaming yesterday or they're just a blind fanboy.
Sigh, when will the fanboyism ever end. The Xbox fanboys keep on setting themselves up for failure. The Splinter Cell and Metro 2033 screen shots looked amazing before the game was released but the actual game graphics turned out to be not that good. How about we stop hyping the graphics and when an Xbox game does look as good as a PS3 exclusive then just be happy. This is just like the PS3 fanboys hyping up a game to sell like Halo.

As far as the fanboys go, both sides are insecure and hurt. The PS3 fanboys are insecure and hurt by the fact that the PS3 isn't #1 this time and the Xbox fanboys are insecure and hurt that they can't keep up with the PS3 in graphics and exclusives. The PS3 fanboys are hoping to outsell the Xbox as soon as possible and the Xbox fanboys are always paranoid at the fact that at any day some of their "exclusives" can and probably will be announced for the PS3. Bungie has had other good games but Halo has been a major financial success for them so the other games have become overshadowed and forgotten about due to Halo.
